This site called for a dynamic design that would compliment both the architecture of the home and our client’s style. To achieve this, we played with the grades of the site by removing soil and designing a unique bridge leading to the entrance of the home – not a common landscape feature you see everyday! To provide warmth to the site, we used wood, stone and weathering steel elements throughout. We designed a unique planting plan that blends both loose and structured planting that is low maintenance and provides winter-interest.

The courtyard compliments the traditional architecture of the house while having a modern look and feel. We incorporated many of the front yard elements (wood, stone and steel) to create an intimate and an inviting lounge.
