A graduate of Ryerson’s Landscape Architecture program, Joel Loblaw’s approach to outdoor spaces is bold, strong and yet extremely gentle. His timeless creations reflect his love of colour and plantings (which can be enjoyed year-round). A committed and talented painter, Joel is involved in several community arts programs, including Nuit Blanche. His extensive practical experience in landscape design and construction – along with a passion for planting design – made him the natural choice to co-host HGTV’s Dirty Business.
As Joel Loblaw’s business partner, Lindsy Gregory brings two decades of senior level experience in client service, marketing and brand development to her role. An honours graduate of Ryerson’s Marketing and Business Management program, Lindsy has run two successful graphic design firms. A flawless orchestrator, Lindsy ensures each project is delivered on time and on budget. Lindsy’s passion for creativity makes landscape design a natural fit. Like her little brother, she enjoys pitching in and getting her hands dirty whenever possible
Before Graduating from Ryerson’s Landscape Design program, Margaret studied Studio Art with a minor in Art Theory and Criticism at the University of Guelph. She sees all aspects of landscape design – including colour and texture – through the of prism of history. Her hands-on experience as a floral designer has enhanced her ability to mix textured colour palettes in an original and nuanced way. Away from the office, she is a travel junky with a taste for cuisine and nature.
A native of New Westminster, British Columbia, Lorne has plied his trade as a senior landscape designer and project manager for over thirty years. He studied in British Columbia at Simon Fraser University and in Ontario at Ryerson’s Landscape Architecture program. Along the way, his work has garnered much praise and many awards. He claims that 99 percent of people he meets have an appreciation for his sense of humour. We’d like to meet these “people.”
With a passion for outdoor spaces, Emily Hall brings a youthful energy to her new role as Designer at Joel Loblaw. A graduate of the University of Guelph’s Bachelor of Landscape Architecture program, she is intimately involved in all aspects of the design and fulfillment process. Her previous experience at a landscape/architectural firm and work in interior and floral design have made her an invaluable addition to Joel Loblaw Inc.
