This project has been celebrated in the press and even graced the cover of a coffee table book on contemporary design. Taking its cue from the interior of the main house, the architectural lantern is constructed of cedar timbers and sand-blasted glass. Carefully chosen plant materials – combined with existing mature trees on the property – create a dramatic approach to the pavilion. The overall design takes advantage of the parkland at the back of the property, providing long views and an expansive feel.
